Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying your Monday.  We had wonderful weather over the weekend but now the weather is cold and we had snow flurries this morning.  Oh where is spring??? This is Easter week and I hope each of you have a wonderful Easter with your family and friends.  It is a very special time of the year and one of my favorite holidays.
I received some of my Paris books so today I am going to share a couple of them with you.  I would love to be in Paris this time of year.  I am sure it is really beautiful there. So share one of the Paris books with a child and enjoy reading about a lovely place to go.

Paris
by
R. Conrad Stein

This book is a good book to share with an older child third thru sixth grade I would say.
It shares about Paris and all the things you can see there with great pictures and also gives a history of the city.  It might be a good place to start before reading the other books about Paris. I enjoyed reading it and looking at all the places I want to go in Paris.

Eloise in Paris
by
Kay Thompson

Have you ever seen Eloise at the Plaza?  What a delightful movie.  This book is really cute and Eloise shares many of the sights of Paris and she travels there with Nanny.  Eloise gets a telegram from her mother saying come to Paris.  They arrive in Paris and Eloise takes

you on a tour of Paris and even shares French words and what they mean.  Children will love the book because of Eloise's antics.  She loves getting into trouble .  The illustrations by Hilary Knight are really cute.  So if you like Paris and your daughter or granddaughter likes it too this is the book for you.  Check it out at your nearest library or bookstore and take a trip to Paris in your mind.
I also put another book about Eloise in the pictures so check it out too.
See you Wednesday..
