A Cedar Cove Christmas
by
Debbie Macomber
The story starts out when Mother-to-be Mary Jo Wyse arrives in Cedar Cove on Christmas Eve looking for the baby's father. The father, David Rhodes had said he would be in town. But of course he isn't. Which leaves Mary Jo stranded, pregnant, and alone. There is no room in the local inn. So Grace Harding brings her to her nearby ranch where the animals for the local Christmas pageant are being housed. When Mary Jo goes into labor that night, a young paramedic comes to the rescue just as Mary Jo's brothers , the three Wyse men show up in town. The people of Cedar Cove join them in celebrating the birth of Baby Noel.
This is a lovely book which resembles the true Christmas story with names and circumstances. I hear it is going to be a movie on the Hallmark channel this Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing it this Christmas. It was a great story. I hope you will get a chance to check out the movie and the book this Christmas.
