Happy Wednesday Friends!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their last full week of March.  It will be April before we know and I am looking forward to Easter.  I love the spring and the rebirth of the flowers and all of nature.   I guess I would say this is my favorite time of the year.   Today I am going to tell you about a cute story about a ranch dog and I believe the time of year is spring .  I hope you will share Charlie, the Ranch Dog with your children this week.  It is a really cute book that boys and girls will love.
So enjoy it with a child.

Charlie, the Ranch Dog
by
Ree Drummond

Charlie is a ranch dog on a big cattle ranch in Oklahoma.  Breakfast is his life especially if it consists of bacon.  Charlie has dangly ears, floppy skin, and big, fat paws.  He lives in the country with the Drummond family and his friend Suzie which is another dog on the ranch.   Charlie does all kind of things on the ranch fixing fences, gardening, and helping his family out on the ranch.

Come check out the adventures of Charlie and Suzie on the ranch as they help their family out.  Find out why Charlie always seems to miss things that are happening on the ranch. :)
Find out what happens one day with Charlie and the cows in the garden.  There are great illustrations by Diane deGroat.
So go to your local library to check out this fun book about Charlie and life on the Drummond Ranch.

Also check out Amazon to hear Ree Drummond  read some of the book.
