HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEK!!!!

Well, are you ready for the trick or treating, the costumes, the parties, and all the fun?  My children always loved to dress up and I did too.  Now, my granddaughter likes it too.  I have several Halloween books to finish up this week.  I hope you will share them with a child this week.   This is a fun time of year for kids!!!

Happy Halloween
by
Liesbert Slegers

This is a cute Halloween book for young children.  This is a story of a little girl  on Halloween Day and all that her family does together for Halloween..  Her dad carves a pumpkin, her mom makes pumpkin soup and pumpkin waffles. The little girl gets invited to a Halloween Party by her friend Jasper. She makes a present to take to Jasper and then after dinner she puts on her costume and goes to the party.    They have a lot of fun at the party and then all of them go trick or treating together.
This book is really cute and has great illustrations on each page.

The Halloween Ball
by
Lisa Ann Margoli

This is a cute story about a Halloween Ball given by Princess Sofia's parents.  Sofia and her sister Amber decided to make costumes.  Amber tries to make her costume but it isn't working out very well.  So Sofia offers to help her which she does and makes a cute costume with peacock feathers.  Amber likes it until she sees Sofia's costume.  Sofia makes a fairy costume for herself which is very pretty.  On the day of the Halloween Ball Amber sees Sofia's costume.Amber thinks Sofia's costume is better than hers so she glues more feathers on her costume to make it prettier she thinks bu on the way back to the palace  she falls in the mud and her costume is ruined.  What will she do and what will Sofia do?  Please  read the Halloween Ball to find out what they do.
